How should I explain Miss Right to Life of Georgia, as well as Georgia Right to Life to my little one?

I've had several parents ask me this question. I understand that each parent will know when it's time to explain the pro-life stance to their young child. My mother didn't talk with me about this issue until I was thirteen. Everyone is different!

When asked by my little sister about this pageant, I knew that she was not ready to understand the truths behind this issue. I told her that "Miss Right to Life is helping raise money for Georgia Right to Life. Georgia Right to Life is a special group of people who help mommies make good decisions about their babies. They also help mommies buy diapers, formula, doctor visits, and other things babies need!"

To all my parents out there, please do not worry that your daughter needs to know "everything" in order to participate. Our board, myself included, admire the innocence of a child. Every aspect of this pageant, including the day of the pageant, will be a family day in every way. I can't wait to share it with you!
