Optional Competitions
These scores are NOT added into the score of the pageant. Competitions will take place after each age division competes in the gown portion of the pageant.
Photogenic Competition: $10 additional fee
Guidelines: Photo of contestant only, no larger than 8x10 photo, no frames please, black & white, sepia, OR color, headshots preferred, only one photo per contestant, winner in each age division will receive a trophy. **Turn in your photo with your registration fees (July 11th) , and pick it up at contestant check in booth after your division competes.
Talent Competition: $10 additional fee
Guidelines: Talent Competition will take place for your age division after the casual/formal wear has ended for each division. All scores for division winners will already be turned in to auditors, so talent will in no way affect your score in any other portion of the pageant. Time limit is 3 minutes, Contestant must provide a precut song on CD. Please be mindful that this is a family event when selecting clothing as well as music and movement. Board of Directors have the right to refuse inappropriate talent entries. Winner in each age division will receive a trophy. **We must have all music needed turned in by the workshop date the week before the pageant (July 17th at Spout Springs Library). You may also mail it in with your registration. Accompaniment must have contestants’ age division and name on the CD or cassette tape and be cued for performance.
